Lee Westwood and the majors
4 average rating from 1 members
22 April 2010
Lee Westwood had a great Masters tinged with disappointment that he was so close. There's no doubt he's getting closer but can he go on and win one? Does he need to change anything about his game to make the ultimate step up?

Keep doing what he is doing and his time will come. With his good track record at St Andrews he must be a good bet for this year's Open Championship

There is no way he will not win a Major. Its not as if he choked at the Masters, Phil just had an incredible final round. If Mickelson hadnt made that shot on 13 (which he actually pulled by the way, so I think he got damn lucky) who knows...

I'm not so sure, he could be another Monty [heaven forbid!] and like aforementioned he's also a bit on the porky side...not quite the gazelle-like Garcia when he runs out of the woods to check where his ball has gone.
At time of writing he's just blown a 3rd round lead in the Players' so time will tell - I'd say he needs to win one in the next two years if at all.

When you see what happened at the weekend, you do have to wonder if it could be all in the mind. Big rest of the year for him I think.

As a fellow Forest fan, Lee will win a major maybe two years in a row and at some time there will be a Nottingham club back in the Premier League of English soccer!!
