At the end of our Season the top 12 US Swingers and the top 12 European Swingers* will compete in a US v Europe Team Final at St Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, Southern California between Friday 12 and Sunday 14 September 2008.

*The 12 European Team Final places will be distributed between the Europe Club Swingers League and Europe Fun Swingers League based on the number of active Swingers in each league on Friday 27 June 2008.

The final will consist of Fourball matches on Day One and Singles matches on Day Two, where one point will be awarded for a match won, and half a point for a match drawn. Scores from both days will be combined to determine the overall winning team. Europe Club Swingers will need to provide a current handicap certificate. US Swingers and Europe Fun Swingers will be provided with a fun handicap based on the scores they have submitted to qualify.

Please note that scores only count towards qualification for the Final once six scores have been submitted and verified.

Which scores count towards your League position?

US Swingers

The six best casual and competition stroke play rounds from your local club*, Corporate/Society Golf Days and Match Play submissions count as qualifying points for the competition and towards Leaderboard positions. Please note only two of these six scores can be Corporate/Society Day scores.

*all scorecards or other forms of verification must indicate gross strokes

Europe Club Swingers

The six best Medal, Stableford, Corporate/Society Day and Match Play submissions count as qualifying points for the competition and towards Leaderboard positions. Please note only two of these six scores can be Corporate/Society Day scores.

Europe Fun Swingers

The six best Fun Rounds, Corporate/Society Day and Match Play submissions count as qualifying points for the competition and towards Leaderboard positions. Please note only two of these six scores can be Corporate/Society Day scores.


Match Play wins are awarded 3 points, Match Play halves (draws) are awarded 2 points and Match Play losses are awarded 1 point.

The player's total golf league points are the sum of the six best qualifying points. To qualify for the final, you must have submitted six valid scores.

How do bonus points affect your League position?

Total bonus points are used to decide a player's league placing where golf league points are tied.

What happens at the end of the Season if I am tied with another Swinger on golf league points and bonus points?

If you are tied on golf league points and bonus points, your final leaderboard position will be determined by the number of verified scores entered. If you are tied on golf league points, bonus points and number of verified scores entered, your final leaderboard position will be determined by the value of your first verified score.
