We are delighted to announce our first Season 7 Players of the Month who themselves will join our new Hall of Fame.

March's Rest of the World Player of the Month is Joan Heeter, who despite her consistent golf over the last 3 seasons, wins this award for the first time. Joan has had an outstanding month with five under par scores including a 7 under par nett.

Q: Joan, you have had a fantastic month, is there any one thing that has helped your form?

A: I treated myself to a series of lesson here in palm springs with the teaching pros early this year..i have been a roller coaster ride with this game so it has been a good streak recently....... i love to practice so having someone look at your swing and help you improve is always a motivator for me...

Q: How long have you been a Flying Club Swinger and what’s been your best season so far?

A: This is my third season with the swingers and i have been lucky to make the finals the 2 previous years....i think i am playing some of my best golf .......the longer we play this game we get a bit smarter with our play!!! this is the toughest sport i have ever played!! i have never cried at bowling!!!

Q: If you could play a Swingers match play against any player who would it be?

A: I would love to play a match against any LPGA player but give me lots of stokes.... how about Yani Tseng, Suzann Pettersen or Ji Yai Shin???? I just watched Karen Stupples play here in Palm Springs this past week....that would be another fun match!!

Q: Why should other Swingers challenge you to a match play at your local club?

A: I welcome any Swingers to join me at my golf club here in Palm Springs.....you would be my guest!!!

Q: What is your dream Swingers final venue?

A: Somewhere in South Africia!!!!
